About Us

I developed Modeelfi after experiencing a defining moment at an art museum. The most influential artwork creates boundaries through its presence instead of occupying physical space according to my observation of the powerful sculptures surrounding me. The people in my surroundings displayed loud clothing that made me wonder about the disappearance of all listening attire.

The founders of Modeelfi established their company based on a basic principle which states that clothing exists to support your body rather than being the main focus. Our design philosophy promotes aesthetic silence which allows your presence to become the main focus while design elements stay out of your way. 

The name “Modeelfi” merges “Mode” (style) with “Elf” (a spirit of the air). Our approach to design focuses on developing weightless intentional style according to our philosophy. We use architectural lines and minimalist cuts in structured linens and fluid crepes to compose a canvas of neutral tones. Each item in the collection serves as a building block for your wardrobe to create peaceful self-assurance.
